This happy Belgian Malinois was the subject for a custom graphite portrait I offered to do in 2011 for a silent auction for the International Association of Canine Professionals. The highest bidder would get a custom portrait of their own dog. A women bid and won. We started the process of communicating through emails, but a photo was never photo was decided upon by the lady. Years went by and now we are at 2019. She contacted me and asked did I remembered her and would I still honor her winning bid. Of course I new exactly who she was and also I was happy to honor the bid. At this point she provided an excellent photo which makes things easier for me! Here is handsome boy, Maverick.
