This past week I put the finishing touches on the ‘Gunner’ portrait, so on Sunday my clients came over to pick up the piece. They were delighted. This was the largest piece I have done so far. It took me 3 extra hours past the usual amount of time. They had asked for the portrait to be larger than their first commissioned piece. If I can, I will agree to special requests and then adjust price accordingly. The portrait portrays the matiff/weimaraner mix in a very nobel manner. I have asked that they sent me a photo of the portrait after they have it matted and framed you I can share it on the website. Before they left my home they asked me to come out to their car you I could see a new face. Between the time I started ‘Gunner’ and finished the piece they adopted another dog from a rescue organization. His name is Rusty and he is a chihuahua/dachshund mix. Only 12 pounds at his full grown weight. They happily told me that the two dogs are getting along great and Rusty will be the next piece they commission. Yeah!
