This family dog portrait request came all the way from Wisconsin. Although I live in California, people from Wisconsin contact me through my postings on Facebook and my website to hire me for custom portraits. An old friend from high school decided he wanted a portrait of all three dogs for a family Christmas gift. After looking through a dozen or so photos I found the shots that I felt were great representations of each dog. Their personalities ranged from shy to out going and confident. Their names are Scout, Nellie and Rudy. Scout the doodle and lowest on the piece is the most shy. Can you tell by the portrait who is the shy one? The photos had different lightening and clarity so graphite is an excellent option and creates a unity between the dogs.
